Alle Sett’are is a vast plateau 1000 meters above sea level, an hour and a half walk from the centre of Colle San Magno, which hosts wild horses, flocks and herds. The main attraction is a centuries-old chestnut grove surrounded by fruit trees and ‘peasant’ houses. Grain, potatoes, legumes were grown here.

Along the leisurely path that leads to Alle Sett’rere, a series of signs explain the territory and the activities that took place in the past: from the production of lime to that of coal, to mountain agriculture, to the production of ice. At the end of the path there is a rest area equipped for hikers, with tables and barbecue.
