The park is an installation of some architectural elements that are particularly affected by the sun’s rays in some periods of the year and allow us to observe and reflect on the relationship between the earth and the star today and in history.
Engraved marble slabs represent the constellations and from the way they are struck by the sun’s rays there is a clear astronomical and astrological map.
The park is located on the terrace of the municipal building (Lat 41 ° 41 ’27’ ‘North – Long. 13 ° 25’ 05 ” East) and takes its name from an ancient cave dedicated to the god Mithras which is located just below the palace.
