Beribboned horses

The festival of the beribboned horses takes place the first Sunday after Jan. 17 and consists in the parade of horses and riders in historical costume who go to the Church of Saint Anthony on the day of the blessing of the animals.

It recalls the tradition from the early twentieth century, when the most widespread profession in the district of Porta D’Arci was that of carter.
