Mausoleum of Cicero

The monumental mausoleum dates back to the early imperial age and is called ” Cicero’s Tomb ” for its proximity to his villa and the site of his assassination. Actually, Cicero’s remains are in Rome, but those of his daughter Tulliola are believed to be the smallest tomb.

The circular tower, once covered with marble, rises 24 m above the local scenery.
