“Once upon a time” Museum

This unusual museum presents six scenes of the traditional life of the fields with handmade characters able to move thanks to a special mechanism. All the scenarios are handmade with cork, papier-mâché and stucco, as in a large crib of the Neapolitan tradition.
The scenes represent: the olive harvest, fish with the scales, the farm and processing of cheese, breeding of animals, processing of the fields, craftsmanship (straw, wood, leather, glass, terracotta), town activities (merchants’ square, shops) and scenes of domestic life.
