In Blera, the small sanctuary of San Vivenzio was built to complement the cave where the saint lived. Recently about 12 square meters of frescoes were discovered organized into several panels depicting the Virgin enthroned with the announcing angel and a female figure

The frescoes were made between the twelfth and thirteenth centuries and are representative of the best Roman painting.
