In March the village of Pavona in the Roman municipality of Albano Laziale celebrates the Carnival with great celebrations involving all citizens and many visitors from the neighboring villages of the area of the Castelli Romani. Parades of allegorical floats, performances by folk groups and a lot of street food. The festivities culminate on Shrove Tuesday with a greeting to the “King Carnival”.
