The Medieval Tower, which was originally connected to the Doge’s Palace in Campoli Apennines, is 25 meters high and is one of the few testimonies of the medieval past. It was built by Landolfo Aquinas on a previous construction of the ninth century.

Today the tower is in the old town of Campoli Appennino, in the highest part of the country, and is still guarding the Val di Comino.
