The fortress of Supino, called The Tower, is located on the summit of Punta di Creta Rossa, at an altitude of 430 m s.l.m. and was built for a purely military function in the X-XI century, under the control of the family ‘de Supino’. The castle was damaged in 1128 by a long siege by the papal troops, and then rebuilt.

The fortress came under the control of the Colonna family up to 1432 and in a 1567 document called “discovery” that was already in decline.
