The Way of St. Francis is a path of religious and natural interest that crosses the Sacred Valley of Rieti where St. Francis of Assisi passed and where he had founded four sanctuaries. It consists of eight stages and is 80 km long.

The main points of interest are: the four shrines, the old town of Rieti and the beech wood of San Francesco in Rivodutri through the Nature Reserve of lakes of Lungo and Ripasottile.
