Madonna of the Rosary

The festival takes place in the church of San Gaugerico or San Michele Arcangelo since 1911 when the picture of the Virgin of the Rosary of Pompei carrived and the Rosary Brotherhood was formed to organize the annual festivities.

Madonna of Perpetual Rescue

On the first Sunday of September, an evocative procession renews Fumone’s devotion to the icon and it is not uncommon to see people following the procession barefoot for having received a grace from Our Lady. The festival has been repeated from 1886.
