Feast of San Rocco

The patron Saint of Labico, is celebrated on the Saturday preceding the last Sunday of August with great festivities heard by the entire population. The day begins with the solemn mass in honor of the Saint and ends with the procession of his statue through the streets of the town.


These fragrant donuts are produced near the Christmas festivities. Bean soup

A poor dish of the Italian tradition is one of Labico’s specialties. Prepared with borlotti beans with the addition of celery, carrots, onions and potatoes, all boiled slowly along with good meat broth. An excellent dish to enjoy on a cold winter day.

Labicano Carnival

At the beginning of March Labico comes alive in the weekend with the celebrations of the Carnival, which traditionally showcases all its grit partying with parades of allegorical floats organized by masked groups. A weekend of good food, fun and joy for this small village in the province of Rome.
