Lenola. Struffoli

Struffoli are a traditional dessert served and produced in Lenola during the carnival made of flour, eggs, sugar and grated lemon. They are little pieces of dough fried in deep fat, cut into dumplings and coated in honey warmed in a pan.

Lenola. Taralli

The Taralli of Lenola, are bagel shaped and sweet, made from a dough of flour, water, sugar, salt, anise seeds, olive oil. They are formed into small donuts which are then brushed with egg yolk and cooked in the oven.
