Sant'Andrea del Garigliano. The Ceramic art in Sant'Andrea

Between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, in Sant'Andrea del Garigliano there was an interesting production of ceramic art by the master Nardo Rao and potters Vincenzo Arpino and Sebastian De Vito.

The most typical production at the time were hexagonal tiles with decorations of flowers and leaves, of animals or geometric shapes, that can still be seen in the different churches in the area.
