Taishan is the symbol of national spirit, known as China’s “national mountain”. Mount Tai is the eastern one of the five Sacred Mountains of China and in 1987 was listed as a world natural and cultural heritage in the UNESCO list.

It is China’s 5A Tourist Attraction and a reputation as the best in all the land, there are mountain”. It is one of the ten most beautiful mountains of China and is located in central Shandong Province. It belongs to Tai’an City.

For thousands of years, there have been twelve emperors of Taishan Fengshan. Confucius left “Deng Taishan and small world” of praise, Du Fu left a “would be extremely Ling, list of small hills,” the poetic masterpiece through the ages.

Countless emperors and people visited Mount Tai to pay homage to Heaven and Earth throughout Chinese history. Dufu, a famous poet in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), wrote a poetic masterpiece.

The main peak of Mount Tai is 1,545 meters above sea level, so there is always clouds and fog shrouding the peak. At done, visitors climb the 6.666 steps to the South Gate to Heaven to watch the sun rise through the clouds.

The large Inscription Commemorating Mount Tai, written on a cliff by Emperor Xuanzong is a major attraction. It commemorated the accomplishment of a sacrifice ceremony he held on Mount Tai in 726. All the characters are coloured gold in the official script, thus distinguishing this inscription from most of the inscriptions on Mount Tai.

Nowadays, Mount Tai has become a symbol of Chinese civilization and a precious heritage of all mankind.

The Water Margin Movie and Television City is the main location for the TV drama Water Margin (2011).

It contains many buildings including Wangyefu (the mansion for the emperor’s brother), Taishifu (the mansion for the army commander), Taiweifu (the mansion for the highest rank military officer), brothels, Royal Dragon Place, Dongjing Bianliang Imperial Road and Zishi Street.

It features ancient styles and superb technology. It takes tourists on a historic journey. The movie and television city have become a popular tourist attraction by creating a comprehensive resort featuring cultural experiences, local shows, leisure activities, film shoots and a visitor distribution center.

Taishan Hot Springs Tourist Scenic Area (total investment $ 425 million) covers 430,000 sqm and is a national 4A scenic spot combining a health spa, leisure activities, business meetings and health amusement with ecotourism.

It is located in Culai Mountain, also known as the sister mountain of Mount Tai, the birthplace of Dawenkou culture, the hometown of Taishan Shigandang culture, and the home of Li Po, a famous poet, and five other literati from the Tang Dynasty (AD 618- 907).

It is also a historic site that witnessed a glorious battle against the Japanese.

The Sun Tribe Scenic Area is a large theme park featuring prehistoric civilization (total investment is $ 588 million). The scenic spot focuses on Dawenkou culture and integrates prehistoric culture with scenic experience games.

It applies first-class modern technology and equipment to help visitors fully experience prehistoric culture and enhance tourist participation, interaction and entertainment

Taishan Colourful Times Scenic Spot covers an area of 200 hectares and is a famous film base with 9 spots: Water Park, Dream Flower World, Tropical Flavour Zone, Fantacy orchid Island, Future Fields and Gardens, Tianhe Park, M-Zone, Millenium Crape Myrtle Garden, and Zhigao Culture and Anime Park.

It is a national 4A tourist attraction integrating leisure, sight-seeing, entertainment, experiential activities, catering and science.

A large-scale live performance, Chinese Mount Tai Fengshan Ceremony, has been financed with 300 ML Yuan (49 ML dollars). The performance area is 8.600 sqm and allows from 2.200 to 2.700 spectators.

The performance emphasizes the Chinese Spirit and respect for heaven and nature. It praises the idea that ‘man is an integral part of nature’.

It draws from Taishan Culture and focuses on historical stories of Chinese Emperors during Fengshan Cerimonies in the Qin Dinasty (221-206 b.C.), Han Dinasty (206-220 a.D), Tang Dinasty (618-907), Song Dinasty (960-1279) and Qing Dinasty (1644-1911).

The Fengshan ceremony (Worship of heaven and earth)

Mount Tai was the sole holy mountain where emperors could keep dialogue with the gods.

According to records, during the pre-Qin period (before 221 BC), 72 emperors, including Huang- ti, visited Mount Tai to hold theocratic awarding ceremonies.

After the Qin Dynasty (211 – 206 BC), 12 emperors visited Mount Tai and held Fengshan and sacrificial ceremonies. During the ceremonies, the emperors would declare the prosperity of the country, the unity of the nation, and the peace and prosperity of the people to the world.

Tai’an Fantawild Adventure is located in Taishan District (close to the Mount Tai Scenic Area) and covers an area of about 500.000 sqm. It is a 4^th generation high tech theme park featuring science fiction, anime and Chinese cultural elements.

The wine route of the Etruscan Roman Lands promotes the territory where the vines of Cerveteri DOC and Tarquinia DOC and the IGT Costa Etrusco Romana are grown.

The Etruscan-Roman denomination refers to the importance that the cultivation of vines has had since the Etruscan period and frescoes of vine shoots are found in some Etruscan tombs. They are the ones who imported grape cultivation into Italy and started the support crops that still characterize our landscapes today.

Along the wine route is an archaeological and tasting route where you can stop in the numerous cellars that in addition to wine tasting offer tastings of typical local products.

In fact, the Strada del Vino and the products of the Etruscan Roman Lands also promotes traditional products of the area such as: the IGP artichoke from Ladispoli, carrots from Maccarese, broccoli from Anguillara and fennel from Tarquinia.

Among the products of excellence also note the meat from the farms of the Lazio Maremma. At one time these areas near the sea were the arrival point of the transhumance (seasonal stock migration) of the shepherds who came to spend the winter near the sea and who are now present all year round.

For this reason, among the typical products there are also excellent pecorino cheeses and the famous "Caciofiore" of Columella, a cheese produced according to the description of Columella from the first century AD.
