Vallepietra. Museum of the Holy Trinity Sanctuary

In the historic centre of Vallepietra, the Museum of the Holy Trinity Sanctuary preserves the historical artifacts and records of the place, highlighting its strong spirituality.

It contains photographic images of Vallepietra, relics and sacred vessels of the church, and records that tell of the various noble families that have alternated in control of the territory.

One room is dedicated to the Pianto delle Zitelle (Weeping of the Spinsters) and the ex-voto (vows) (a votive offering to a saint or to a divinity).

Another section documents the businesses of the territory and the Sanctuary.

In the documentation centre a rich amount of filmic and photographic material produced about the Sanctuary.
