On the occasion of its 120 years anniversary, Fieracavalli has organized a Summer Tour to the international equestrian centre of Atina in the beautiful Val di Comino. From 20 to 22 July there will be an exhibition dedicated to the horse and the equestrian world that connects to tourism and promotion of the territory.

This is an area particularly rich in food and wine products, from Atina DOC wine to Fagiolo Cannellino, and Picinisco cheese plus many other products of the earth. It has an unpolluted nature that partly falls in the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise and a history that dates back to the Roman period, which manifests itself in all its splendour in the castles of Alvito, Vicalvi and Atina, just to name a few.

There are wonderful villages that, in summer, are filled with popular music and jazz where it is possible to dance and enjoy eno-gastronomic delicacies.

The equestrian centre run by the Associazione Ippica di Atina (Atina Horse-Riding Association) hosts international competitions such as the CSI on 12 July, an international show jumping competition just before the Fieracavalli Summer Tour.

Equestrian tourism in Val di Comino is a reality and it will be even more impressive following the opening of 120 km of trails thanks to the “I Cavalieri dei Tratturi” association. The trails are a network that can be covered on horseback, by mountain bike or on foot and which connect the Val di Comino with the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise.

Our role will be to give information to tourists and enthusiasts on all the beauty and wonders of the territory and on the experiences, recounting and promoting the event through our channels.
