Fara in Sabina. Monastery of the Poor Clares Nuns

Sister Francesca Farnese built four monasteries and then had to found another in Fara in Sabina.

It should be the dearer to the heart of Jesus because it is more detached from the world and immersed in meditation.

In 1678, Cardinal Barberini, the last owner of the castle of Fara, left the castle to the nuns.

They founded the '' Monastery of the Solitude of St. Mary Aiding Providence of Solitary Barefoot Santa Chiara '' (literal translation) a very strict enclosure.
