Palestrina. Palestrina Stitch

Palestrina. Palestrina Stitch

Palestrina is known in the craft world for having given its name to embroidery: Palestrina Stitch, inspired by ancient arabesque motifs.

The Palestrina Stitch is carried out on canvas of coarse linen type.

It has a regular pattern and uses cotton thread. It is similar to the Stoia Stitch or Erba Stitch.

Schools and associations have been started that have rediscovered these traditions of embroidery.
