Roccasecca dei Volsci. Maritata soup

Maritata Soup is a traditional old dish of Ciociaria and Roccasecca dei Volsci.

It is a soup of leafy vegetables and meat and it was cooked in a 'pot ', a crock pot, on the fireplace.

The name comes from the fact that meat and vegetables are "married" in the pot.
