Aug 4: Rocca Massima International Organ Show

What is it that attracts the world’s best organists to take part in an international musical event in a tiny village in the Lepini Mountains? Rocca Massima is the most elevated village in the province of Latina, perched on a rock spur. About 20 years ago, a few inhabitants began to think about how the village could become well known and attract new visitors. They settled on two ways: one based on culture and one on fun.

The village commissioned and built a special organ from a well-known company and created an International Organ Festival. So, we went to experience this emotion as spectators.

On the other side there is Fly in the Sky, the longest cable car ride in Europe. It’s Over 1,200 meters of ride in the sky starting from Rocca Massima city centre, landing among the olive trees below.
