Montefiascone. Monument to the Pilgrims

The monument to the pilgrims is located on the highest point of Montefiascone, the belvedere in front of the entrance to the seminary and the ancient village.

It is an iron sculpture that seeks to be a tribute to all the travellers who for centuries have stopped in Montefiascone.

Here there is the 100 km mark on the Via Francigena, on their way to the tomb of the Apostle Peter in Rome.
