Riofreddo. Polenta festival

The polenta festival closes the Riofreddo winter festivities and is celebrated in March during the first spring suns. The polenta is cooked in big pots, covered by in the sauce and served in the typical wooden plates called scifette which are then given as a gift to the participants in the festival.

In addition to polenta, you can taste other typical dishes of the area.
