Starting from Licenza, one of the walks reserved for those who are already familiar with mountain trails is the path that leads to Mount Gennaro. This path has been traveled since ancient times, as can be understood from a Latin inscription found along the way, and in part it follows the Via dei Lupi and the Coleman Path.
The path starts from the Horace Villa, passes by the Nymphaeum of the Orsini and then begins the climb that crosses the woods.
You then cross the ditch of Vena Scritta - written stone, which owes its name to the stone with the Latin inscription, to arrive at Fount Campitello and finally at the Pratoni di Mount Gennaro at the highest point just over 1,000 metres.
The total length is about 15 kilometers and lasts more than 5 hours.
