A real surprise is that of finding archeologists and sommeliers who share the discovery of the ancient peperino quarries of Marino while sipping a glass of Marino DOC and sampling bread with local organic oil.
Old Marino is connected by a network of tunnels that are practically located under each house. From these tunnels the rock was mined with which the overlying houses were built.
Now a group of young archaeologists manages these spaces and organizes special events: historical culture and food and wine culture. A competition difficult to lose!
