Lucretili is one of the biggest parks of Lazio and is located northeast of Rome, in the area extending from the Apennines to the Tyrrhenian plain. It comprises 13 municipalities, many of which, created in the Middle Ages, are perched on hills. It has a surprisingly rich and "wild nature".
The highest peak is the Pellecchia, 1368 meters overlooking the valley of the mountain stream Licenza.
