This is a protected area that spreads over13 municipalities. From San Polo dei Cavalieri you can make wonderful excursions to Mount Gennaro in which you will encounter floral peculiarities such as the presence of about sixty species of orchids, holly bushes and beech. In these areas, there have been sightings of the wolf and the golden eagle.
