Vallo Latino Volsco

Anzio. Vallo Latino Volsco

The Vallo Latino-Volsco is a park near the Basilica of Santa Teresa which includes an area used in the period between the VIII - V century BC by the Volsci.

The Vallo had a defensive character and a total wall length of about 4 km that probably protected an ancient village of Latin or Volsci population. Inside the park you can see caves carved into the rock and ancient burial sites.

The area is equipped with games for children and a refreshment area.
