Vitorchiano. Church of St Peter

The church of Saint Peter was outside the walls of Vitorchiano and is mentioned in a document of 1202.

The church was sold in 1775 to the Onesti brothers of Vitorchiano for 200 scudi and was later deconsecrated last century.

It has a simple facade with a circular opening and the entrance door is enriched by two gothic / Romanesque style jambs finely carved with floral patterns.

Inside it is possible to admire an altar, also in peperino.
