Fumone. Ada and Giuseppe Marchetti Longhi Museum

Inside the castle of Fumone there is the house-museum belonging to the great archaeologist Giuseppe Marchetti Longhi and his wife Ada.

The house was donated to the town and the museum represents a classic nineteenth-century bourgeois apartment, with outstanding testimonies. In addition to its original furniture.

It contains: a collection of 19th century lead soldiers, a Kashmir tapestry obtained in London in the 1861 exhibition and the wedding dress worn by Emilia Caetani (sister of the Duke of Sermoneta).
