A day dedicated to the enhancement of local products of San Gregorio da Sassola and the surrounding areas. A day of discovery that starts from the palate but wants to go deeper, involving history and traditions.
Tastings start from late morning and continue throughout the evening. It starts from local bread and bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil from the nearby olive groves and olives in brine. Then come the milk products with ricotta and sheep's cheese from the mountains accompanied by local prosciutto.
The first main dish is the 'unmissable' Fettuccine, made by hand, with local veal ragout. The feast ends with a grilled sheep "Cottora".
The tasting takes place in the gardens of the convent of Santa Maria Nuova with the framework of live music.
