For walkers, in Ciciliano it is possible to retrace the pilgrim path that connects the ancient pilgrim hospital of Santa Maria Maddalena with the sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie della Mentorella on Monte Guadagnolo at an altitude of 1,018 meters.
The route combines history and nature and after starting from the ancient medieval hospital you pass through the archaeological area of the ancient Roman city of Trebula Suffenas (or Trebula dei Suffenati), an important municipality that had a forum and thermal baths.
Following the route, you pass by the stupendous Parabocio waterfalls and begin to climb towards the sanctuary. After passing Fonte Morrella at 780 metres, you cross the area where the miracle of Saint Eustace took place, the place where the saint converted after seeing a deer with a cross between its horns.
At an altitude of 900 meters you cross the Wojtyla path, named after the pope who loved to walk in these mountains near Rome.
