Genesta wine, Lazio IGT of Boscocastello

Genesta wine, with White and Yellow Muscat, Bellone and White Pinot grapes from the Paliano hills.

Genesta is a Lazio IGT white wine from the Boscocastello winery and is produced from White and Yellow Muscat 85%, Bellone and White Pinot 15% grapes grown in the sunny hills of Paliano, the first village of Ciociaria.

The founder Maria Elena Sinibaldi is very proud of her family's tradition and she collects the grapes manually in boxes and after the grapes are crushed and destemmed, she passes them on the pomace for 24 hours.

The refinement is done in stainless steel for six months, followed by a further stop in the bottle for three months.

Genesta wine has a bright straw yellow color and releases the typical aromas of Muscat with final aromas of fruity notes. It has a fine, dry, warm and savory flavour and with its 13 degrees and a long persistence it lends itself to accompanying dishes with delicate characters such as shellfish and seafood appetizers.

It is a dry wine, with an evident personality that well reflects the character of Paliano (in particular of the hills of Boscocastello) and of Maria Elena that you can meet at the winery while taking care of the vineyards on a daily basis.
