Lacerno Folk Festival of the municipalities of Lacerno and Fibreno

Lacerno Folk Festival of the municipalities of Lacerno and Fibreno is an itinerant ethno-musical event that marries with the rediscovery of the extraordinary features of the Lacerno and Fibreno territory.

There are 5 evening concerts distributed over a period of one month in the Municipalities of Pescosolido, Posta Fibreno, Fontechiari, Broccostella and Campoli Appennino.

It takes its name from the Lacerno torrent, which flows through the municipalities of Pescosolido and Campoli Appennino, and from the Fibreno river that rises from the crystalline waters of the homonymous lake at the Posta Fibreno Nature Reserve.

As a whole it is a wonderful land, with surprising panoramic roads that let you enjoy the view of a wild and fascinating nature, on the border of the hills of the Abruzzo National Park where you can make marvelous excursions to enchanting places.

Lacerno Folk Festival of the municipalities of Lacerno and Fibreno is dedicated to the rediscovery of folk arts and musical crafts. It hosts groups of folk musicians from the province of Frosinone and southern Italy.

The idea comes from the "Radici Popolari" band that, after the success of "Brocco Etno Fest", has extended the promotion of live activities involving all the towns and villages of Lacerno and Fibreno.

There are festive evenings that see the historical centres of the villages involved in traditional music and popular dances in the square. Saltarello evenings and tarantellas, in which the popular music of Ciociaria mixes with the traditions of Salento.

In its first year of 2017 Aria Corte, Radici Popolari, and Picarielli performed.
