Finally, a Tourism Plan that puts tourists' desires at the center and tries to attract them with Lazio's enchanting proposals.
Regional Councilor Elena Palazzo chose Anagni for the first stage of the presentation of the Three-Year Tourism Plan to industry operators, and we were among the audience with the dual role of Discoverplaces and councilor of the Alta Ciociaria DMO.
Hosting the event, in the beautiful Sala della Ragione, was Mayor Daniele Natalia, proud of one of the medieval capitals that will soon host a G7 session together with Fiuggi.
The plan is divided into clusters that this time are not territorial but are connected to the different types of tourism; in fact, each of us undertakes a journey to indulge a passion of his or hers, living an unforgettable experience. In fact, we at the DMO had also set up our proposals through 4 types of vital 'energy' that our territory offers.
Let's now analyze in detail the 4 tourism clusters identified by the regional plan are macro-areas taking the words of the region itself:
- Knowledge, culture and well-being
- Active
- Slow tourism and Walks
- Major events
Cluster I - Knowledge, culture and well-being
In line with the "holistic" approach considered, the cluster intends to develop cultural tourism and wellness tourism, in all their potential in terms of integration and complementarity: from the theme of the enjoyment of artistic and archaeological treasures, to the enhancement of the food and wine culture of its locations; from the great interest that wellness centers have registered in recent years, to the innovative relaunch of the spa sector.
Cluster II - Active
This Cluster will include all the activities of "active tourism", understood as all those activities to be practiced in the open area: from those appreciated by nature and sports lovers, to those attributable to the entire sector of sea and mountain tourism.
Cluster III - Slow tourism and Paths
The sensitivity, on the part of increasingly large segments of the demand of tourists and travellers, towards the themes of environmental and socio-cultural sustainability and towards places of religiosity and spirituality, finds in "slow tourism" and in spiritual paths its ideal segment of offer.
Cluster IV - Major events
Major events can represent a driving force for attracting investments, socio-cultural growth and promotion, territorial enhancement and tourism development, knowledge and promotion of the image of a territory. The MICE segment (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) will fall within this Cluster, but the theme of Wedding and the implications connected to the tourist impact of the extraordinary event of the Jubilee 2025 could assume specific relevance.
