Orte. House of Judah

Orte. House of Judah

The House of Judah is located in the old town of Orte and owes its name to a national traitor who lived in the Middle Ages.

In the fifteenth century, it was the property of Evangelist Pietro Iaco Franceschini, a noble family of Bassano that it housed there people who had been driven from the city. For this he was expelled.
