Passerina del Frusinate IGP is the queen of white wines from Ciociaria, but that of Alberto Giacobbe is a true 'Duchess'.
A white wine with a straw-yellow color tending to gold that is intense and fruity on the nose with hints of peach and white flowers.
Its fresh and mineral taste with the savory notes that come directly from the land on which the vineyards are cultivated, makes it balanced and pleasant.
It can reach 13 degrees and is a perfect wine to be enjoyed at the right temperature on summer evenings.
Or to accompany first courses, crustaceans, molluscs and the famous primo sale cheeses that are typical of the upper Ciociaria and the Roman countryside.
Duchessa is produced from 100% Passerina del Frusinate grapes and is aged first in steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 6 months and then at least 3 months in the bottle.
You can buy it directly in the cellar after a tasting or in the best wine shops.
